I am pleased to announce that Justine Pattullo has joined NextWealth as Marketing and Content Director. Justine is responsible for helping to raise NextWealth’s profile as the go-to source on adviser tech and adviser market trends and will also help us to deliver our insights and expertise to clients and the wealth management market as a whole. This appointment is an important step for us as a business as we define our market position and growth plans.
I’ve known Justine for several years – as an industry colleague and client. She is highly regarded and brings over 20 years’ experience in financial services. Justine has worked in marketing for large financial organisations and most recently at Origo, an industry fintech. Her expertise in adviser technology, industry knowledge and strategic digital marketing skills will support our exciting next phase of growth.
Since I set up NextWealth two and a half years ago, we have published reports and hosted industry gatherings on forward looking topics to help our clients and the wealth management industry adapt, innovate and thrive. We have aggregated the views of financial advisers to push for better integration of adviser tech, amassing over 1,700 reviews of 50 individual pieces of adviser tech. We have nudged platforms and other providers to reduce paperwork and improve efficiency, reducing the admin burden for those working in financial advice businesses.
We have offered objective insight based on rigorous data and analysis about financial planners and financial advice businesses, helping financial advisers grow and scale their businesses, helping asset managers and advice tech companies adapt their propositions to better meet the changing needs of financial advisers. And we have quantified industry trends, such as the rise of segregated mandates in retail and discretionary managed portfolios.
We have been giving a lot of thought to what we want to do in the next three to five years. Justine’s appointment is key to those plans. Along with me and Justine, our team also includes Hannah Wemyss, Research Associate and Julie Best, Qualitative Researcher. We’re also very much supported by our chairman Peter Mann and director Clive Waller.
In the next few weeks we will be publishing an update to our Adviser Business Benchmarks study that we did with the PFS last year. We are also updating our research on adviser tech, MPS propositions and we are publishing a new ESG Tracker study. Please do get in touch with me if you would like to hear more about our plans for the rest of this year and, indeed, the years to come. And please join me in giving Justine a very warm welcome to the NextWealth team.
